Movie Cliches

Now that you understand genre, well maybe not yet ! Well this site will remind you of what you're going to expect in a horror movie for example.

And why should this site be anything more than just funny.  Well, as film connoiseurs, you shouldn't be too impressed by a directors handywork if it's been seen and done so often as to be a cliche!

A really cool site on Kubrick

Getting started… you'll maybe want a biography, filmography, articles, quotes from critics and works by your director, influences and finally overall contribution to film.  Additionally, a close examination of main film and themes.  Have a look at how this is done at this site.

Directors

Cinemedia is the largest internet movie database and really comprehensive on movie directors.

The quality of the content varies, so if you see a website made on geocities, then it's someone's homepage probably.  So double-check your facts.
